ANGLIAN WATER WILL BE WORKING IN FRESSINGFIELD - Please read below for details
Following recent reports of possible flooding around a manhole during heavy rainfall, Anglian Water will be conducting investigations in the Fressingfield catchment area over the coming weeks. Our aim is to assess the condition of several assets in the area to better understand any underlying issues.
As part of this work, our team may need to knock on doors to request access to Anglian Water assets and private manholes located on residential properties. This will only be done with the property owner's permission upon answering the door.
Where necessary, we will also carry out CCTV inspections of the sewer network to identify any defects or blockages contributing to the reported flooding.
Our team will be in full AW Hi-Viz and will be carrying ID, which can be verified with a phone call, if required. The team will try and minimise inconvenience and attempt to park their vehicles to avoid any disruption although this is sometimes difficult in smaller catchments.
Apologies for the short notice but it is a reaction to the recent report.
We appreciate your support and cooperation during this period and will ensure minimal disruption to residents. If you have any questions or would like further details, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
