We have had advance notice that a mains renewal project will be starting in February 2026. In advance of the project, today we received this notice about some initial work that is going to take place in December 2025.
"As part of the preparatory works for the Fressingfield Mains Renewal scheme, we are writing to inform you of upcoming road closures required to carry out trial hole investigations. This work is being undertaken so we can work collaboratively with the Suffolk Council highways team and is a necessary step before the full scheme can commence.
Please note: No pipe-laying will take place during these closures.
Road Closure Details:
We understand the importance of minimising disruption and will ensure that all works are carried out efficiently and with consideration to local access and safety. Advance signage and appropriate traffic management will be in place throughout the duration of the closures."
